This show stopping bronze masterpiece looks much like those by Josef Lorenzi, a renowned Austrian sculptor, known for his Art Deco figurines. This wonderful John Ramsey bronze sculpture of a dancing girl was produced by Gorham Foundry circa 1923.
The dancer poses elegantly with both arms raised, balancing on one foot over a square mound base. Signed and dated, also marked with the foundry on the base.
